Fedde Le Grand & Nicky Romero - Sparks (Change Bootleg)

February 2, 2013 -

Christopher Lavinio

Alex Woolley, otherwise known as Change, has recreated Fedde Le Grand and Nicky Romero’s “Sparks” into a party anthem. It is clear that Change is not afraid to step out of his comfort zone as he flawlessly transforms these soothing vocals into something grotesque (in a good way). One thing to pay attention to is how smooth the transition between the melodies of the verse to chorus. Another popular method would have been to have an unexpected, a bit off drop to get the listener’s attention. However in this song, the drop actually complements the tune of the verse, which I normally prefer. Also, he incorporates a little bit of dubstep action after the chorus, which was the perfect icing on the cake. If you're digging his sound, you should definitely check out his other songs on his SoundCloud.
