This weekend your UK Daily Beat members Finn Lurcott and myself headed to Ministry of Sound for their Saturday Session with Tom Staar and Zane Lowe supporting the monster that is Zedd. Tom Staar started things off with some incredible electro and progressive influences and mashups. His set lasted from 00.00 - 01.30 getting those arriving at the club ready for the huge night to come.
Next to hit the box was Zane Lowe. I haven't seen much of Zane before so I was interested to see what kind of set he would go for. What came next was one of the most dirty sets i think I have ever witnessed. With massive Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Glitch-Hop, Trap and Electro influences he managed to get the entire club, even those who seemed uninterested standing at the back with their drinks, raving like there was no tomorrow. Massive hour and a half set from Zane. Wasn't expecting that at all, Make sure you go and check him out the moment you have the chance. This guy is crazy!
Next to come along with a massive 2 hour set was the sensation that is Zedd. The set was compiled of many of the tracks from his most recent album ' Clarity' along with some incredible mashups. Again their were some trap and glitch-hop influences alike Zane's set. I couldn't have asked for more from Zedd's set but instead of having me ramble on about the details i think its probably better to just show you what Ministry experienced last night. Here are some video's from last night and I apologise for the quality. Hope you enjoy!
