Event Preview: Giraffage at the El Rey Theatre on February 28

January 15, 2015 -

Louis Garcia

Giraffage is a name that you've seen before but you've been purposely saving his luscious sounds for a time when you can fully immerse yourself in them. Well the time has come. After dropping sets at underground clubs such as Low End Theory, the mastermind behind Giraffage, Charlie Yin, has reached the major leagues with an EP release on Fool's Gold records and some big slots for 2015's festival season.

After listening to No Reason, his latest 5-track release, its no wonder that this kid was put on to open for Porter Robinson during his recent Worlds tour. The futuristic and intimate sounds of Giraffage are truly inspiring and we're extremely excited to be able to check him on on February 28th as he debuts a new live show inside the El Rey Theatre.
