Less than one month after an unfortunate hospitalization, the Glaswegian beast known as Rustie announced and released his junior Warp Records album – EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE. The LP displays Rustie’s awesome progression since his last record, Green Language, which dropped just over a year ago. EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE, or EIUDB as we’ll now refer to it, showcases Rustie’s uncanny ability to juxtapose brightly active synth lines with heavy 808s and crunchy percussion.
Rustie posted a track titled Big Catzz about four months ago, which turned out to be the first of three album singles he would release in anticipation of EIUDB. Though the three tracks are still the only ones from the record to have appeared on Rustie’s SoundCloud page thus far, the fifteen-track album is now available to stream through Spotify.
To be completely honest, it would be a very difficult personal task to try to point out the best songs on the record. All of the tracks do extremely well to collectively contribute to the album’s overall vibe, as well as they do stand strong as individual tunes. To make it easier on ourselves, we have chosen to include the two most recent songs Rustie has posted, First Mythz and Peace Upzzz.

As stated before, the album is available to stream in its entirety through Spotify, and you can grab yourself a copy through any number of the typical digital music platforms. One such platform called Bleep included a brief write up on EIUDB, and is quoted as stating that the album is “possibly the most realized vision of Rustie's sound yet.” We could not agree more.
