I clearly remember that moment when I saw Eric Prydz play live, slowly transitioning for about four to five minutes from a deeply rooted progressive tune into his legendary remix of M83's Midnight City. The grace and ease in which Prydz did it, slowly but surely embracing the crowds' cheers and emotions through one simple transition truly amazed me. Yet again, Mr. Prydz himself did just that during his one hour set at Ultra Music Festival last night. The brilliant led crescendo coupled with the entire Ultra Mainstage going black truly made this a spectacular moment for the hundreds of thousands that gathered in Miami last night. Prydz simply makes the music he wants to play. Whether that be edits or private remixes, Prydz always finds a way to create a truly invigorating experience when he takes the stage. Listen and enjoy!
PS: The pyrotechnics were so insane, even Prydz himself couldn't avoid a burning!
