Elohim has always been the kind of artist who makes you feel like she’s speaking directly to you. Her creations and wide-ranging popular electronic style had a way of cutting through the noise, drawing people in with raw sincerity. Her recent live event, “Sunday Scaries IRL: Little Help Edition,” is an extension of that connection, bringing her audience closer while giving back to the community.

With an event at Heds Melrose in Los Angeles on December 8th, fans gathered for an exclusive live DJ set from Elohim. Yet, there were certain novelties that made this event stand out in particular. Attendees brought canned goods or children’s toys as their ticket in. These donations went directly to two impactful causes—#WeFeedLA, helping fight food insecurity, and the ABC7/LAFD ‘Spark of Love’ Toy Drive, which brought essentials to children during the holidays. The whole setup felt like the perfect mix of heart and celebration, with Elohim’s music setting the tone for an afternoon of joy and generosity.

But there’s more to this story. Elohim’s recent release, “Little Help,” created with Yoshi Flower, spoke to the quiet magic of human kindness. She described the song as capturing the feeling of being helped at just the right moment—that relief when someone stepped in without being asked. It was a beautiful sentiment, and one that mirrored her own journey as an artist. Vulnerability and empathy is at the heart of what she does, creating a space where her audience felt understood, supported, and uplifted.
