Egress leaves a bit of something for everyone on the table. The album is the first from Teset and comes intact with over 11 tracks under it's umbrella. Insightful and soul-stirring, an overall theme that's hard not to define as 'mysterious' comes brimming to the top of the journey. The trait transcends the music itself and is a part of the personality make up of the musician themselves.
More specifically, Teset has yet the reveal the face behind the project. Gender, features, and the like not apparent up until now and as well as the foreseeable future.
Although not the first artist to embrace this choice, it naturally drives more talk about the artist and directs the attention more toward the music than anything else, a great differentiator.
Although easy to broadly define as ambient and lo-fi inspired, Egress doesn't easily fall into any one cultural category. This aspect surges it's originality that much more and leaves those who take a shot on it left with strong memory of it's effect.
