The Dutch duo of East & Young have a knack for creating melodic, progressive house with their own unique style and finesse. Their latest release on Big & Dirty with the dreamy RAPHAELLA dubbed "All My Life", East & Young display their finesse perfectly and beautifully as well. Good vibes, plenty of feel goodness and an upbeat tempo make this track one of my favorite releases for this time of year. Gorgeous vocals by RAPHAELLA put the icing on the cake as East & Young's Marc Vano and Ivo de Jong are making noise with their fresh approach to electronic music and it is well deserved. East & Young focus on a sound that is rooted firmly in big room and progressive, but also is highly influenced by everything else going on in the music scene today. Their approach is very much appreciated from a music lover's view, as well as a producer's. They released their debut track 'Reveal' on Spinnin’ Records to widespread acclaim and support in 2008 and ever since have been gaining momentum. With a strong debut on the world stage, East & Young were buoyed by their success and continued to push their sound even further. East & Young's ability to put their unique spin on the work of other artists has opened the gates to a batch of remix work for the likes of Kaskade, Dizzee Rascal, Foster The People, and more recently Galantis. The stakes these days are constantly growing higher as more and more young people become enamoured with music, however Marc and Ivo relish in the new challenges offered by this growth and we look forward to what 2016 will entail for the duo.
