Dreamstate is Bringing Psytrance to Exchange LA This Friday

Without a doubt, we have definitely seen an uprising of trance fans across the United States, especially in Southern California. Insomniac's recent introduction of their latest all trance brand Dreamstate has not only shown newcomers what the genre is all about but giving longtime fans exactly what they need when it comes to their event lineups. With their 3rd edition of their yearly trancegiving event coming up fast, Dreamstate is building up the hype with some local shows, and this Friday Los Angeles is in for quite a treat.

Exchange LA is about to be taken on a journey lead by a trifecta of psytrance, with each artist having their own distinct styles. First, we have minimal-psy artist Perfect Stranger, who we have seen bring the fire to this year's Lightning in a Bottle. His style is sure to set the mood just right for the full on psychedelic destruction that is to follow by Captain Hook. Despite sharing a name with a Disney villain, Captain Hook has collaborated with the likes of Ace Ventura and Astrix, and will not hold back for his debut at Exchange. Lastly, we have the progressive psy master Liquid Soul, who combines euphoric chords and flourishes with the stampeding bass and heavily delayed synthetic noises that are significant of the genre.

Tickets are still available for the event here, and if you think that you don't like psytrance...that's probably because you haven't experienced it yet.
