Down With Webster Partying For Their Life [Exclusive Interview]

Down With Webster's album "Party For Your Life" hit #1 on iTunes at the end of January, just as they were kicking off their Wintour with D-Pryde and SonReal. I had the pleasure of talking to Bucky and Cam briefly before their show in Toronto. These home town heroes tore apart Sound Academy with their unrivalled stage presence and their larger than life personalities.

D-Pryde started off the February 7th show with a bang and a beautiful tribute to his mother who joined him on stage. A touching display that left the audience misty eyed and yelling out "FU-- CANCER." D-Pryde is a talented young artist who knows exactly what it takes to fire up a Toronto crowd.

Juno nominated SonReal continued the show in a similar fashion, engaging the audience and paving the way for the main attraction.

DWW entertained us with songs from their new album as well as killed it with a few classics. I was surprised, but very much so pleased, that every word from Woah Is Me is still firmly implanted in my memory. UPVENUE Magazine was quoted “It’s like taking a handful of firecrackers, lighting them and throwing them in to a barrel full of firecrackers,” and that's exactly what the crowd got to experience.

This vastly dynamic group of guys will continue their success next year with an American tour. In the meantime, head on over to iTunes and check out what they've been up too. Chills and the Charlie Darker remix of One In A Million is definitely worth a listen.
