DJ-Pipes expected to top charts with new EP, Shut Em Down

June 27, 2016 -

Ashlyn Fulton

DJ-Pipes: a quiet, small town boy from Canton, Ohio who has so much built up talent but because of his geographical location, has no market to play for. Three years ago Groove Therapy Records saw such massive potential in him that they signed him and this is now his 6th release on the label.

Shut Em Down EP features the tracks Shut Em Down and Shake That Thing - two break beat originals with old school flavor but a new school twist. Since the bass house surge last year, it has made it easier for GTR to market this track even after the decline of breaks.

Shut Em Down is gaining traction and getting pushed by big players in the game like Wes Smith, Martin Flex, Krafty Kuts and Reid Speed because of the belief in the tracks and the man behind them.

Having charted on Beatport with his last 7 break beats releases, we can only expect the same from Shut Em Down EP!
