DJ Beat Kitty scratching the scene

Fresh-faced female DJ Beat Kitty, from NYC Bass Collective released her first booty shaking single 'That Beat' earlier this week. The track is fun, full of flavor and will definitely get your booty bumping. That Beat has a Middle Eastern flare that melds perfectly with the pumping bass line, and feels slightly reminiscent of the group Beats Antique. The track has a few solid build-ups and drops, and a winding and grinding flow that will make you want to move. Though personally I think the track is lacking some depth, overall I think it is a solid start for the aspiring New York City based DJ. With that said, I always love a strong female artist and I look forward to bearing witness to her musical journey in the future. #inbootywetrust
