Dirtybird BBQ New York Brings Good Vibes to a Somber Day

Those that know Dirtybird know that it's always been one big family, and it could not have been more apparent at the Dirtybird Brooklyn BBQ, turned New York BBQ, held this past Sunday, September 11th. On one of the most somber days in America these guys managed to bring together the best of friends, good vibes, great music and with a last minute change in venue to Governors Island, a spectacular view of lower Manhattan where the two World Trade Center beams shot up into the night sky.

On top of an incredible friend lineup that this event brought out, the stacked line up of Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Shiba San, J.Phlip, Christian Martin, Walker & Royce made it easy for everyone to dance their sorrows away. We'll never forget the events that transpired on that fateful day 15 years ago but the Dirtybird family made it easy for us to push the sadness aside and have one hell-of-a day.

Lifting spirits the Dirtybirds brought out classic BBQ activities like Balloon Toss, Tip a Troll and even a best totem and best costume contest.

And what would a BBQ be without all the delectable fare to feast on?! Chicken, beef, burgers all covered in their signature Dirtybird BBQ sauce - mmm finger-lickin' good!

We always knew we could count on the Dirtybird family to bring us together, and they proved it once again at the 2016 Dirtybird BBQ New York.
