Today’s serving of new music is brought to you straight out of the eastern hemisphere, courtesy of some great artists from Southern France. Bisextile and Chahine have partnered on a remix of "Just Ask" by Dézaulait, and it’s a delicious experience if you’re a fan of mellow sounds. Think Hoodboi in a dark, smoke-filled jazz club.

Dézaulait has been making music for 2 years in Belgium and recently he has sought to evangelize new listeners. His masterful composition ‘Just Ask’ with the brilliant Courtney Beavers is a demonstration of this new direction, and Bisextile and Chahine certainly took notice.
The French duo Bisextile is more known for groovy 128 BPM House – one track is even aptly named “Chicago” – and their contribution to the remix is evident in the rhythmic flair at the drop. Chahine on the other hand, seems much more comfortable in a subdued and steady vibe; blue notes and smooth chords are beset with trap hi-hats and syncopated snares. The fusion of these two signature sounds, coupled with a smooth and sexy vocal line, makes for a track that is soft yet rich on the auditory palette. Don’t take my word for it, though, check out the release below and tell us what you think!
