Reigning in a new era of music that fuses the past with the future, Destructo is back with his captivating Future Funk EP. This four-track compilation opens with the groovy electrifying house track of "Perfect Beat". Next is a vintage disco anthem featuring TroyBoi, called "You're The One For Me". In "F With Me", Destructo collabs with vocalist Tima Dee and production gurus Chromeo on an 80s-synth pop tribute. Closing out Future Funk is "The Future Is Faster", a celestial retro jam forged by Destructo's Misingo project, including artists Doorly and Colour Castle.

In its entirety, Future Funk gives off an uplifting and energetic aura by bringing a wide spectrum of musical elements together. The release has already been played out by the likes of Alison Wonderland, Diplo, and Martin Garrix. Talking about the inspiration behind Future Funk, Destructo says, “my dad ran a nightclub in New Orleans in the 80s called the Famous - these tunes are a tribute to that era with a futuristic spin on it. I’m bringing the Funk back to House in 2023.”

Destructo has been an impactful figure throughout the electronic music space since his emergence in the 90s. From hard techno sets to singles that intertwine hip-hop and electro-house, Destructo has collaborated with Basement Jaxx, Kevin Gates, E-40, and other groundbreaking artists.
