It's time for a golden-hour sun salutation. Verboten's deep house yoga class, Willkommen, is once again coming outdoors.
Willkommen brings together mind, body, and music in a weekly yoga class series, accompanied by DJs who provide a soothing soundtrack of deep house. After two stellar sunset sessions last year in Havemeyer Park, as well as open classes at the recent Mysteryland USA festival, the series now moves to McCarren Park in Williamsburg for a summer edition of Willkommen in the Park. Each monthly class is instructed by Gina Benenati, with musical accompaniment from George Faya.
A limited number of yoga mats will be available; attendees are encouraged to bring their own. Water will be available.
