Joel Zimmerman is perhaps one of the most outspoken producers (don't say DJ) in dance music at the moment, and his soundcloud has been awash with new material over the past couple of months. Many fans, myself included, have felt slightly confused by his seemingly ironic audio posting's, with confusing sounds, and even more confusing names. With Joel's announcement today of his split with fiance Kat von D, it would seem this turbulent posting has run at a parallel with his similarly turbulent life over the past few months, but I am happy to conclude that a true, irony free deadmau5 preview has finally hit us. Suckfest9001 (I am as baffled as you when it comes to these names) is the makings of an absolute masterpiece, showcasing lush, trance influenced chord progressions, soaring into a trance-y/electro-y/dubstep-y drop which packs pure unadulterated energy! It would seem the Mau5 is well and truly back in business I am incredibly excited for what is to come!
