2014 is poised to be a quite a solid year for the electronic music scene. Personally, I'm glad to see a majority of producers straying away from the "big-room" sound that seemed to wash out the industry. One artist that we could always rely on to keep us guessing with pure production capabilities is Deadmau5, drawing in a plethora of new music and Twitter-based tirades that seemed to make the rest of the playing field stay honest. Keeping true to a more musical quality, Philadelphia-based duo Gerald Thomas & LuVitt bring a club-friendly electro bounce to Joel's widely known and respected "Raise Your Weapon", keeping the progressions simple and harmonious, and incorporating a drop that is clean and not over-the-top.
