MTHD, aka Matt Haun, has been quietly honing his skills and mastering his craft over the past year and it has been paying off. A student at ICON in Burbank and at Cal Poly Pomona as a Music major, MTHD is already a well rounded producer and drummer at the age of 21. Over the past 4 months MTHD has released 4 new original tracks including the latest, "To Kill". With this new production, MTHD has decided to go in a different direction than his usual trap influenced style and he pulls it off perfectly. He goes with a drum and bass track and I must admit it's unlike anything I've ever heard. Grimy, hard hitting, fast and in your face are what comes to mind on a first listen. Combining his somewhat abstract touch to all his productions, this is an impressive track and is a fresh taste of something new and different. I only hope he continues to go in this direction and any other direction he feels he needs to go in, as it seems the possibilities are endless for this young producer.
