Bryce Bresnan and Joseph Sussingham are no strangers to the scene. The two Florida natives have been collaborating on music together under the moniker of “Coyote Kisses” for over half a decade now, though it seems 2010 saw their first song release via YouTube. A good handful of singles and remixes over the following three years led to the release of their first official EP titled “Thundercolor” – a four track collection of feel-good post-dubstep and melodic breakbeat jams. However, 2013 only saw a couple more releases from the duo before their presumed disappearance for the entirety of the following year.
On December 30th of 2014, a post to their Facebook page reading only “revive: 010515” seemed to mark the initiation of their apparent return. In the first week of 2015, Coyote Kisses released the song “Revive” – a fitting title for their first drop in over a year. Their return also brought with it the beginning of their branding of the genre “Neon Nature”, which Revive and their three subsequent releases have been labeled under.
In this first week of August, they dropped their newest neon natured jam. “Illusion” delivers an atmospheric introductory groove that lends no hand to being able to predict the make-you-wanna-bounce future bass drop; perhaps this is the “Illusion”. The three minutes and thirty-six seconds of tuneage is one catchy example of the growth Coyote Kisses has undergone over the years, and quite a hopeful indication of the direction they’re heading.
