Back in late September, LA-based producer/DJ CLOCKWORK released a free fifteen-song bootleg pack to the public to celebrate reaching 15,000 likes on his Facebook fan page.
If you don't know who Clockwork is, you might know him as his alter ego RL Grime, who about five months ago released a massive trap/bass remix of G.O.O.D. Music's "Mercy" with fellow LA producer/DJ Salva.
As Clockwork, however, this up-and-comer has produced hard-hitting, bass-centric records such as "BBBS" (released on Diplo's label Mad Decent), "Titan" (also on Mad Decent), and a unique remix of Zedd & Matthew Koma's "Spectrum" with A-Trak aka DJ Jesus. He is quickly gaining prominence within the electronic community and is currently on tour with Dillon Francis and Baauer. If you have an opportunity to see these guys perform, DO SO. His bootleg pack features a variety of mashups spanning sub-genres such as moombah, big room house, electro/progressive house, and more. My personal favorites include "Troll Sparks" (Qulinez vs. Fedde le Grand & Nicky Romero ft. Matthew Koma), "You Used to Llove Me" (Kaskade & Dada Life vs. Calvin Harris), and "Gimme Sum Weapons" (Chocolate Puma & Gregor Salto vs. deadmau5). This release contains material quite different from Clockwork's usual stuff, so listening to this is definitely a good opportunity to hear a different side of his work.
