These two songs must be long lost twins, because Valerie Valentine has hit the nail on this mashup. Without hearing Chooky's song, "Watu" before, it took only a few seconds to realize that this song was the perfect half for DJ Snake & Alesia's song, "Bird Machine". Bird Machine has been one of my favorite songs of recent, and I'm really glad to see it getting some recognition and love in this mashup. The two themes of the songs go so smoothly with one another. Both using similar instrumentals and tribal-like and naturesque tones, it's evident they have the perfect vibe for the spring and summer festival season. I know the Mad Decent crew and Dillon Francis have been dropping this in their sets, so maybe it will pop off at Coachella during Dillon and Major Lazers sets. Enjoy the mashup!
