Cashmere Cat Releases Alt. Version of Ariana Grande's "Be My Baby"

Cashmere Cat has made inroads into the world of mainstream pop as of late, producing radio-friendly hits for the likes of Ludacris, Charli XCX, and Kid Ink. His newest production credit is "Be My Baby," co-produced with Benny Blanco and Lido, on Ariana Grande's newly crowned No. 1 album My Everything. The track features all the signatures of a Cashmere Cat song: uplifting piano chords, plinking synth hits floating in the back of the mix, and an omnipresent whistling noise that parachutes into all of his work. Not one to disappoint his core fanbase, our favorite alliterative animal-named producer released an alternative version of "Be My Baby" today via Soundcloud. The edit is much more experimental, stripping down the original into a cut that sounds more like Cashmere's idea of a pop song before the record label makes their changes. Stream the alternative take below and listen for more Cashmere Cat songs coming to the radio in the near future.
