Camp Bisco 12 Exclusive Interview with Wolfgang Gartner

August 7, 2013 -

Ashlyn Fulton

Twenty-one years of making music and still striving to better his style and sound, I consider this man an EDM God. He started his own record label, Kindergarten Recordings, has topped numerous dance charts including Beatport and iTunes, was nominated for a Grammy, and although his contract just ended, was signed to one of the biggest electronic record labels, Ultra Records. On the second day of Camp Bisco, minutes before he took over main stage, Wolfgang Gartner joined us to talk about the past, present, and future of his music. From growing up and being intrigued by synthesizers to working with Skrillex on “Devil’s Den”, he breaks down how he got to where he is, along with his thoughts on the EDM scene, and his new music coming out!
