It's not hard for me (or the majority of the musical populus) to say that "Blurred Lines" was truly one of my favorite songs so far this year, if we're going with songs played on Top 40 stations. Sure, it has been recognized as marketable by almost every station on the air, and safe to say it has been blasted to an almost sickening amount on the radio, but something about Pharrell's swing-pop production mixed in with Robin Thicke & T.I.'s vocals just gives it the grooviness that I miss about good music.
But where is the drop? Where is dirty remix?? Ladies and gents, look no further. Fresh off of the release of his remix Chardy & Timmy Trumpet's "Melbournia", Will Sparks returns once again to chop up some vocals and create a progressively weird banger that keeps the groove bumping at 128 bpm. That's right, this track is weird. And for those of you that don't know me by now, my brain recognizes weird as "amazeballs". I'm so glad to have heard a remix of a song that I already love with the comfort of knowing that it will easily make any party rock. Check it out for yourselves! We are still awaiting a release date, so stay tuned and we'll let you know when that is!
