Our favorite underground duo is back with another deep tune to perplex the mind. Los Angeles producers Bixel Boys have remixed indie rapper Theophilus London, who is known for his genre-bending ways. He has put out songs that fit under soul-pop, jazz, post-punk, electro and R&B. That being said, any remix of his songs is sure to be unique and pleasurable to the ears; and after the boys released a dope remix of 3LAU & Botnek's Vikings, we were excited to give this track a listen.
The Bixel Boys infused the middle eastern style djembe beat and jazzy feel of London's song Tribe with a new age garage deep house sound, and it is fantastic. The sound design keeps your interest piqued and the beat keeps your head bobbing. Most importantly, this song is free to download.
