Subset, Symbiotic & Stranger The Bassment Saturdays Slayers

October 24, 2014 -

On October 18th Liquid Stranger, Symbiotic, and Subset all murdered the BASS heads of Webster Hall's BASSment. This sold out show started off with one of Webster Hall’s own Resident DJ, Subset, who opened up the night with bass heavy tunes leaving us eager to hear what else was in store for the rest of this legendary night.

Symbiotic came at us with that nasty riddim (that heavy wonky dubstep), dropping grimy bangers making the whole crowd show their bass faces, angry claws, and gun fingers. While Liquid Stranger played killer track-by-track he left the BASSheads only wanting more. Tacos were even passed out to feed the frenzy of BASSheads. Subset came back to close the show, ending the night with a surprising track; “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears, throwing it back to the late 90's which made the whole crowd cheer “One More Song” and surely enough Subset dropped one more bass heavy song to close the night.

I have never felt the crowd more energetic. Symbiotic even came down to the floor after his set to rage out with his fans. Space Jesus made an appearance, for he knew this show could not be missed.

One fan Nikki Lopez posted, "It felt like more people were in the BASSment raging than upstairs in Webster Hall's Grand Ballroom."

Symbiotic and Subset

Statuses about the show flooded social media pages exclaiming "Best BASSment Ever!" and  "I feel bad for whoever wasn't at BASSment last night". Days after the event fans are still posting about the after effects from this crazy event and fans from across the country are still tweeting and posting how they wish they could have gone.

Our bodies are still feeling the after effects from this incredible show, proving to NYC that Dubstep is clearly NOT dead.

Props BASSment Saturdays for this epic event.
