BangOn!NYC is a goldmine of top-notch sounds curated from a range of established and underground artists. This Halloween, the Warehouse of Horrors will let attendees have a little taste of every treat, with an artist roster spanning from deep house to sharp-edged future, jagged trap, and more. Artists like Zenbi and The Golden Pony will support headliners Hayden James, Salva, and company for this ghastly affair. Familiarize yourself with the headliners through this killer playlist.
Up first is Hayden James, an Australian singer, songwriter, and producer. His remix of Rufus' "Sundream" puts a swanky twist on the original track. Another stand-out track comes from Salva and DJ Shadow: Kimbra's "90s Music" gets a bass-heavy remix that's ready for peak-hour at the club. Salva, always an expert an experimentation, has produced countless remixes for Kanye West, the Glitch Mob, and others, proving that his high recognition is well-earned. Chicago natives Louis the Child collaborate with K.Flay on "It's Strange," an angst-ridden track that manages to keep a cheery flair. Fresh from a hometown show alongside fellow native Kaskade, the duo is gearing up for a tour in support of the Chainsmokers. Flying in from Los Angeles is Pumpkin – whose remix of "Tao" by Buddha Bass is so deeply infectious that it conjures moods from another world. It's no question why he's a favorite at festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, next to Lee Burridge and Justin Martin. Enjoy these tracks, as well as fresh sounds from FDVM, The Juan MacLean, and BOGL, below.
