So, the official release came out for Martin Garrix and Afrojack's collaborative track, "Turn Up The Speakers," and honestly, I am getting tired of the same electro house tune with some random guy saying the generic word or phrase of the song title right before the drop. Of course, the Spinnin' Records artwork (depicted above) depicts Afrojack's sneakers, as if they have some magic speaker volume control power. The track, like many Spinnin' releases this past year, hype up two DJs teaming up, no matter what the finished product turns out to be. Better yet, the egregious "support list" reminds me of the Pelicans in Finding Nemo screaming "mine, mine, mine, mine," with literally no DJ saying any more than "support," "full support," "cool support," and "nice." So, before you go to either Made In America (in Los Angeles or Philadelphia) or the coveted Electric Zoo festival this coming Labor Day Weekend, just listen to what's being played and ask yourself, "am I giving full support bro?!"
