It's not everyday that you find yourself watching Dancing With The Stars. Unless you're stuck at home on a Monday night, hanging with your parents/grandparents watching music-related competition shows, you normally don't glue yourself to the TV at that time. Luckily, I happened to channel surf a bit when I stumbled upon the Dancing With The Stars Finale featuring Snowboarder Amy Purdy, who contracted Neisseria meningitis,a disease that affected her circulatory system that resulted in both of her legs having to be amputated below the knee. Purdy has had an incredible journey on Dancing With The Stars, and continued her success when performing to Hardwell & Matthew Koma's dance hit, "Dare You."
With such an inspiring story, Purdy truly redefined what is possible on the show, expressing how Koma's vocals and Hardwell's inspirational synth work came to life in such an emotional dance.
