With the announcement of the first wave of artists who will be playing the Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 this coming October, the reality that the return of this beloved event is upon us is beginning to sink in. There is no event in the world that does it quite like ADE, and if you have never had the opportunity to attend, we hope you leave this post wanting to dive head first into the offerings of the world's most extensive festival and conference program for electronic music.

During ADE, you have the opportunity to experience some of the most unique and special parties that you may not be able to experience anywhere else. You can dance in a museum, at the top of a crane, underneath indoor fireworks, or at a used-to-be technical school turned club. The city of Amsterdam, already buzzing throughout the year with its exciting and bubbly nature, becomes even more electrifying during this week of music. In addition to the more than 2,500 artists that come to play, there are also 600 speakers and almost 200 venues that attract visitors from over 146 countries. ADE features every conceivable aspect of electronic music culture, including conference programming, an extensive Arts & Culture program, live music and DJ/artist performances, all spread across the city of Amsterdam.
