Alphabet Series: B is for BETHANY!

Tonight's the night I'm constantly looking forward to. The night Washington D.C. and the U Street Music Hall soundsystem welcomes Orchard Lounge to the booth. Chicago's finest DJ trio regularly plays Smartbar when residing at home, but away from home, U Street is one of their favorite rooms to fill. And just like every time Ben, Spencer, and Bethany come here, it's sure to be filled.

But this is all about Bethany. The woman knows all and regularly shows off her versatility, mixing deep house with hip hop with downtempo, hell even sometimes throwing in an Avicii track for shits n gigs (don't think we didn't catch that 'My Feelings For You' at Camp Bisco X). Queen B is known to set the mood with the ability to change it at any time in any way she wants. Plus she's a Disco Biscuits fan? How is she not my wife already? In 2009 at the late night tent at Camp Bisco 8, Bethany teamed up with Biscuits drummer Allen Aucoin (known solo as Dr. Fameus) for a little Bee Fameus set to honor the late great Michael Jackson. And it was really, really bad, in all the ways MJ meant it in his songs.

Bethany and Spencer Lokken along with Ben Silver combine to perform what is consistently one of the most unique sets with the best crowd vibes. There's nobody I'd rather be spending my last night out in DC with, and I say that knowing confidently nobody in the crowd will be let down. <From the Dancefloor To the Couch>. Orchard Lounge.
