Washington, D.C. is known for a lot of things, most of which you're not supposed to talk about on a first date or at the Thanksgiving dinner table but what people don't know is that DC is quickly adding a new item to its list of notable attractions: music festivals.
All Things Go, a music outlet based in DC, is helping lead that charge with the All Things Go Fall Classic, one of only a few music festivals that actually occur within the city's limits (another being Landmark Festival which occurred earlier this fall). ATG Fall Classic is only in its second year, but already pulling in quite the lineup.
This year is major with a headlining performance from KYGO, and sets from The Knocks, Penguin Prison, and DC locals, The Walking Sticks. ATG promises not only a robust music lineup, but also features local businesses, restaurants, and chefs (hello, Erik Bruner-Yang of Toki Underground and Maketto), so it's sure to be a great day for all the senses.
If you're in the DC area, there's still time to purchase tickets for the ATG Fall Classic going down tomorrow, Oct. 10 at Union Market in Northeast DC. Make sure to show up early for sets from Photocomfort and POWERS that are sure to get you moving.
Tweet me at @GLHoppin if you're planning on going, or just look for the goofball with a press pass running between the food stands and the stage.
