Alesso vs. One Republic - If I Lose Myself (Evan Duffy Piano Cover)

August 11, 2013 -

Christopher Lavinio

Who decides to drive two hours outside of Washington, DC to Harrisonburg, VA to visit their girlfriend? Well, apparently this guy does. I discovered Evan Duffy from the numerous music blogs out there, and his growing popularity had me wondering what this guy was all about. Well, with one e-mail and a response, I met the guy the next day at Starbucks on JMU's campus in Virginia. After talking to Evan about his classical training, his current studies at JMU and his future hopes of moving out to LA, I knew that he was in it to go far. I am happy to present his latest video to all of you this evening: Alesso vs. One Republic If I Lose Myself. Evan's use of octaves and powerful arpeggios makes his rendition a soothing and glorious one. Enjoy the sounds of one of the rising young composers out there. Watch out LA, this guy is coming for ya!
