Alesso feat. Tove Lo – Heroes (Jai Wolf Remix)

In the past few months, rising NYC producer Jai Wolf (fka No Pets Allowed) has shot up from the Soundcloud community to a national audience on the back of a few choice remixes. The first and biggest was his anthemic take on "Ease My Mind" that got the OWSLA cosign from Skrillex himself. Next, he was chosen by Atlantic Records for a remix of The Voice singer Melanie Martinez's song "Dollhouse." Finally, an unofficial Foster the People "Best Friends" remix with AObeats that encapsulated the 90s era video game-recalling mesh of blissed out synths and hip-hop drums ("future bass") that has been slowly making inroads into mainstream pop.

Today, Jai Wolf earned another star's stamp of approval with his official remix of Alesso single "Heroes" out on Def Jam. He really stepped up to the plate on this one, crafting a dreamy soundscape of melodic lines to cushion the perfectly preserved vocals of Tove Lo. It's been exciting watching Jai Wolf's journey from Soundcloud bootlegs to major label releases. Stream his "Heroes" remix below.
