As the calendar year flipped from 2015 to 2016 Los Angeles residents began to brace themselves for a tearful goodbye to one of the city’s biggest icons. No, I’m not talking about Kobe’s retirement. I am of course speaking of the closing of King King, one of LA’s premiere house clubs. King King is a house lover's paradise and the red brick walls and community on the dance floor give it a throwback feel. King King is the closest thing to being able to get in a time machine and travel back to Chicago and Detroit in the 80’s. And tomorrow Friday January 29th King King is going out with one massive closing party.
In what is no doubt going to be a send off to remember Stardust Love has teamed up with RaveJunky to bring a personally curated line up of top notch house act fitting for a King’s closing act. Starting off the night is LA favorite LondonBridge and you can be sure that the Space Yacht vibes will be in full effect. After that is Honest takes the stage bringing is unique twist on house music. Following them, straight from Phoenix Dirty Doses takes the stage and you better believe they will be bringing some friends along for the ride. Last but not least to round out the night is an epic b2b with White Rabbit’s own boogie master Dre and genre destroyer Ysais.
Tickets are still available online so make sure you grab tickets HERE for what is going to be the most epic farewell party of all.
