As you may have heard from us already, the fourth annual Northern Nights Music Festival will be taking place exactly one month from today on July 15-17 at the gorgeous Cooks Valley Campground. We are itching with excitement to experience this great community minded event that is put on by the NNMF team and can't wait to see all the old and new faces that will be partaking in this year's festivities. 1. The River Stage
With NNMF taking place on the border of Humboldt & Mendocino county, festival goers can listen to great music while also enjoying a swim in the beautiful Eel River or at the adjacent swimming hole. Given that the festival is taking place in the middle of July, we highly recommend that every attendee take advantage of the cool water to escape from the heat.
2. The Redwood Grove
While it is arguable that the Redwood Grove has the best camping spots out of the entire festival it is not limited to just that. The Redwood Grove is also set up with its own stage and includes comedy, late-night performances, and features meditation and yoga during the day for those wishing to unwind a little during the festival.

Not only does NNMF feature a lineup stacked with talented artists but it is also located in one of the most stunning settings that you'll ever witness at a festival. Cooks Valley Campground is located in the heart of California's Emerald Triangle and is home to many redwood trees, beautiful mountains, and much more. If there is one thing that will amaze you right at your start of the weekend, it will definitely be the many great views Cooks Valley Campground has to offer.
4. Late-Night Silent Disco
For those dedicated festival goers who want to keep the party going and squeeze as much value as they can from their tickets, Hush Concerts will be hosting a Late-Night Silent Disco where attendees can plug in their headphones and dance until the brink of dawn to a variety of great music.
5. The Attention to Detail
While producing a music festival is already a daunting task, putting on a festival as well thought out as NNMF is next to impossible. Thanks to its hard working crew, NNMF is one of the most comfortable festivals because every single detail is given plenty of attention in order to maximize the enjoyment and comfort of all festival attendees.
