Desert Hearts is around the corner and we cannot wait to be back with our favorite crew and a bunch of new faces. This year’s Desert Hearts festival will be in association with Walter Productions at Playa Ponderosa in Flagstaff Arizona.

This year we are most excited for the change in venue. Playa Ponderosa is similar and perhaps better than the original Los Coyotes Indian Reservation where Desert Hearts used to happen at. This land is surrounded by trees in the mountains of Arizona and it’s the perfect location to reunite with our Desert Hearts fam.

Here are some of our most anticipated acts of the weekend!

Gettoblaster

Paul Anthony is a house legend hailing from Chicago. His spin on dance music has been nothing short of magical. He is the king of big buildups, bassy drops, and insane scratching abilities. We can’t wait for him to make his debut at Desert Hearts.

VNSSA

The house queen is back! Her take on disco, acid, and techno is sure to make heads spin throughout the festival.

Sean Watson

One of Arizona’s most iconic local DJs and a monumental part of Walter Productions, we are incredibly hyped to see this man get down at his first Desert Hearts. His DJ sets feature a wide range of styles and left-field influences. We know this set will be a trip.

Techno Tupac

LA legend Techno Tupac has been hitting almost every major festival this year. He has been working in the scene for some time and it’s so inspiring to see him finally stepping onto the big stage this year! Last time we caught a renegade set from him was at Off The Grid Campout. He laid it down like no other and we know he’ll be doing the same here.

Sprout

The head honcho of Umbrella Weekend is making his DH debut and it’s definitely got many SD locals hyped up! His sets are funky, deep, ghetto, minimal, and everything in-between. He is insanely talented behind the decks and we know his style will fit perfectly with the music of the weekend.
