Arcane Records is an up-and-coming Los Angeles based record label founded by Daniel Bisbing, Salar Saeidi, and Jared Pittack. This purely soul and art driven label strives to form a conglomerate of diverse producers and sounds all while holding their morals of creative freedom close to their hearts. Lately, the label has been releasing a rush of never-before-heard music and artists that have been stunting on Soundcloud’s platform. Amongst these artists is Styn, who just recently released his Bi$ni$ EP with Arcane Records. The label strives to push the creative boundaries of bass music and Styn's EP definitely fits this bill, expanding upon the experimental trap and hip hop that we crave from Arcane.

The first song on the EP, Bi$ni$, provides a more hip hop beat featuring drowned-out voices that canvas the background of the song. Stigem gives a bass-heavy underlay and a deep-head bobbing sensation, while also incorporating the use of a muffled and submerged voice as both a beat and a melody. Neesitto Tu Amor is one of the more dynamic tracks on the EP, with a hard-hitting and heavy bass, the widely known clap beat, and a sensuous voice whispering, “necesito tu amor,” which when translated from Spanish, means “I need your love.” The EP is energetically wrapped up with Orange, a fast-paced track with an underlying slow and melodic beat. The song ends with a piano melody, bringing the EP to a strong close. This EP is definitely a remarkable representation of how Arcane Records is willing to expand their sound and allow producers to create as they please.
