Some of you may be familiar with the name Tanner Munn as being the guy behind Morelia, House music’s not-so-hidden gem who has been climbing the ranks at quite an impressive rate. However, many do not know that Munn is also the person behind the experimental music project, Mannequin. There are a handful of singles from Mannequin released on Soundcloud, however, this past week the music world was given a treat with the release of Mannequin’s first EP, ‘Jack My Flow (Remixes)’, out on none other than Prime. The original track, where the EP derives its name from, was released on Prime earlier this summer but it quickly caught the attention of other producers who were ready and eager to jack Mannequin's flow.
This new EP not only demonstrates the versatility of Tanner Munn as a producer, but also highlights other experimental artists who are excelling in this genre. The EP features some well known names such as GANGSIGNS, MoonDoctoR and Deejay Manny, as well as some talented producers you may be new to, such as NIK P, Bames, and Dev79. Each one of these artists puts a creative spin on Mannequin's original song with the remixes ranging from Jersey Club to House.
With this release only seven days out and already heading in the direction of 10,000 accumulated plays, it is safe to say that the ‘Jack My Flow (Remixes)’ EP will continue to capture the attention of experimental music lovers and general electronic music lovers alike.
