Nine Lives Captivates with Louis the Child "It's Strange" Remix

January 15, 2016 -

Bradley J. Callison

Nine Lives has captured my heart with their latest remix, this time coming off of Louis the Child "It's Strange." K.Flay's intoxicating vocals and raspy approach to the original carrying over beautifully to this rework. Fresh off their MORTEN remix of "Beautiful Heartbeat," Nine Lives wastes no time in producing another outstanding rendition courtesy of "It's Strange." The rhythm is absolutely heartwarming to go along with a beautiful electronica melody. Emotions run rampant throughout the track, especially at the second chorus. The soundscapes and entrancing effect of the rhythm coated my heart with such a state of ease and belonging. If this is any indication of things to come in 2016, this figures to be a huge year for Nine Lives.
