Update: Nicole Moudaber and her team have moved the show from Coney Island to the Brooklyn Mirage, due to overwhelming demand. Victor Calderone has been announced as a co-headliner.

MOOD Records label head Nicole Moudaber will heat up the tail end of summer with an official release party for her upcoming Breed EP. New York's most beloved temporary venue, the palm-graced Brooklyn Mirage, will turn into her own techno playground with a little help from her friends, Joel Mull and Hector, while also featuring Coney Art Walls and Smorgasburg. The Nicole Moudaber Breed EP Release Party open-air showcase at the Brooklyn Mirage will shake up the warehouse neighborhood on Saturday, September 12. Recently announced, Brooklyn-bred electronic icon Victor Calderone will join her for a special back-to-back set.

Nicole is dedicating this RPM Presents show to the House of Rob, the legacy left behind by New York City nightlife icon and legend, Rob Fernandez. Rob played a pivotal part in introducing Nicole to the New York stage, championing her as he often did with artists that he believed in. Largely responsible for bringing electronic music to the New York masses, Fernandez's legacy lives on in each party that graces the dance floor of every club. A portion of the proceeds of this event will go to the Rian Fernandez Education Fund. (Click here for more information and to donate.)

Moudaber says:

I'm having this show with a lot of sadness in my heart, but also knowing that Rob is above me with a smile. I decided to dedicate this event to him because of the circumstances. I wasn't sure the event was going to happen when Rob left us but RPM wanted to go ahead with it. It is a very special one. It's my first festival and it’s in New York City! Rob chose the location. Rob arranged the show. And he won't be there to see it. The only idea that keeps me going is that he would have wanted it to happen. And I want to do everything to channel all the energy on that special day, for Rob.

An ambassador of dark, pounding techno, Moudaber has teamed up with Skin of Skunk Anansie for the collaborative EP. Two legendary artists in their own right, Moudaber and Skin have brought together cutting-edge aesthetics to ensure Breed is an assault on all senses. The exceptional songwriting and performance abilities of Skin, coupled with Moudaber’s production finesse, both point to this release as one of the most celebrated conceptual projects in techno. Breed will release on September 18 via MOOD Records.

The mini-festival will feature a slew of talent from techno's major players allowing fans to enjoy world-class music, art, and food. Along with her own special warm-up set, Moudaber will also perform back-to-back with a surprise guest.
