Grammy-nominated producer Mat Zo is coming to Output as part of his Self Assemble Tour on Friday, May 13, and we're giving you a chance to win tickets for yourself and a friend.

Mat Zo is a self-professed production nerd, a characteristic he displays heavily on his second album, Self Assemble. The record is multi-dimensional as Zo brilliantly blends a variety of electronic sub-genres; it's conceptual in its attempt to illustrate the artist's feelings on technology's growing stronghold on our realities.  “I wanted to create something that is more permanent,” he told Billboard, decrying the tendency for a myriad of popular EDM releases to be disposable. A predicted success, Self Assemble released to wide critical acclaim and a number one spot on the iTunes Electronic chart.

Zo receives high praise not only for his original productions, but also for his multitude of remixes for the likes of Ellie Goulding, Empire of the Sun, and fellow genre-bending producer, Porter Robinson. Zo is no stranger to chart-topping hits: he and Robinson went on to co-produce "Easy" in 2013, which earned them a top spot on the Beatport charts.
