Being in Los Angeles, it is still quite shocking that there are tons of talents from other countries that we have yet to be blessed with. Let’s focus on one of the greatest destinations for underground electronic music, the United Kingdom. Whether you’re more familiar with the critically acclaimed sounds of Disclosure or the up and comers of the UK underground such as Redlight, there is another hero from the UK that you should keep on your radar. The hero in question would be none other than Low Steppa, an artist that has been on our radar for quite some time now. This powerhouse DJ is making a few stops in the U.S. in a little over a week, and we’re giving away tickets to see him at the ever illustrious Avalon Hollywood.
Not only will he be playing a set, but the whole night is going to be a showcase hosted by his own imprint Simma Black. He has handpicked special guests Bixel Boys, Sam Hiller, and Bones to bring the heat, so this is a night you definitely should not miss out on!
Since the UK producer’s emergence onto the scene in 2013 with his explosive bootleg of Route 94’s ‘My Love’ hitting over 2.75 million plays on SoundCloud and becoming a regular feature on KisFM and BBC Radio 1 Xtra, Low Steppa has rapidly made a name for himself as a pioneer of the bass house musical revolution. Outside of the studio, Low Steppa has recently played several high-profile gigs around the world including Reading & Leeds, EDC Las Vegas and a Monday night residency in Ibiza.
