Ladies of the Underground assemble! After a week off, NYC House Collective is back and taking over a whole new venue in SOHO, Louis & Chan. This Tuesday we've got several bad ass babes rocking the house including, Connie and Lauren Ritter from ReSolute, Lady Cherelle of Selekta Records, Selectress Iriela of Second World Sessions, and resident, Kristen Lush of Deep Disco. Come help us warm our new home with the best House beats from all of these lovely ladies. As always, your NYCHC resident DJ's, Monikkr and Alodot will be hangin' out, with the uber talented, Ben Moon on visuals. This event is always FREE with RSVP so click now to get on the list!

About Connie:

Connie, aka Constar, has been a major contributor to New York City's underground electronic scene for nearly a decade. With a deep fluid mix of forward thinking 4/4 styles and a defined rhythmic sensibility that flows from her alter ego as a thumping rock drummer, Connie is a steady crowd favorite and an accomplished pro who always brings the goods. Whether it is as resident DJ for ReSolute, one of NYC's hottest itinerant underground parties, or on the road touring from Brazil to Spain to Dubai, Connie's innate aptitude and vigorous devotion to her craft have earned her turns alongside a litany of techno's best, whom she frequently, but humbly outshines. Connie has been progressively making a name for herself in the techno world. Some of the highlights have been: winning first place in the Village Voice 'Spinoff Contest', which landed her a spot at Ultrafest, two appearances at WMC's infamous Made Events' Sunday School For Degenerates and an appearance at Canada's biggest techno party Piknic Electronik. Determinedly, Connie uses her own success to inspire other women to enter the male-dominated world of DJing.

Currently, Connie is back in the studio focusing on production with five tracks coming out this fall.  She is also currently working on a solo EP for the ReSolute label.  In addition, Connie spends her time with two bands Jaded Lover, a 6-piece synth-heavy electronic band, and Pacifico, an indie grunge 3 piece.

About Lauren Ritter:

Exposed to her father's eclectic 1000+ vinyl collection, Lauren Ritter began her incursion into the music world early on. Although a classically trained violinist and viola player since the age of 8, Lauren always expressed a strong interest in electronic music. Exposure to the music technology department at her alma mater New York University sparked her curiosity in programs like MAX/MSP and C++. In no time, she was hooked and spiraling into a whirlwind of electronic music production endeavors. Her digital explorations inspired Lauren to spend countless hours in the studio, experimenting with analog gear. From there, she went on to switching
majors and teaching herself how to produce and mix records. Before long, she poured her savings into a pair of turntables, perfecting her technique, and playing out in places like Club Love in the Village.

2012 marked the release of "Juntos," her first track in collaboration with ReSolute Label frontman Elon. Lauren is currently wrapping up more studio work with new releases to be expected for 2014.
