In its 10th anniversary, the Kaluki World Tour made its way to mile high city of Denver, CO at the weekly event Proper Sunday's hosted by Afterhours Anonymous. Spanning the globe with world class artists at every stop along the way, the Kaluki tour did not disappoint the die-hard Colorado fans willing to make the pilgrimage to the club on a Sunday evening.

The always energetic Eats Everything, who has been on a serious come up ever since his first release "Entrance Song" on Pets Records in 2011, was originally supposed to open for the New Castle native, Patrick Topping. However, in the few days leading up to the event, and much to the delight of their fans, it was announced that they would be doing a 3 hour b2b set instead. With a residency in Ibiza and ties to Jamie Jones' Hot Creations label, Topping was surely a great addition to the already amazing roster of artists to grace the decks at the weekly party.

Opening for the duo was Pirate Copy, a trio out of Manchester who have played their house sounds in many famous venues and countless festivals including Space (Ibiza). With a very classic house set, it was the perfect precursor to the ultimate b2b that was in store for the Colorado fans. 9pm rolls around, Eats Everything and Patrick Topping take there spot for what will be an almost 5 hour b2b set. Starting off with classic house hits, they go deeper and deeper as the night goes on. Their dynamic behind the booth is infectious. The maybe 100 fans that were attending the show were trapped in their clutches of deep basslines and fantastic vocal tracks. Not letting up for one second, the b2b whirlwind continued to go deeper and deeper delving into some proper tech house and techno which excited the already engaged crowd. The one thing that everyone could agree on was how much fun the artists and fans were having.

Around the 4 and 1/2 hour mark, the house lights start to come on revealing the 20 or so fans that were still shaking their money makers to the groove of this unforgettable evening.

With top quality artists and an undeniable respect for the underground scene, Kaluki Muzik and the Kaluki world tour is not a show you want to sleep on.
