This first release by Mikoteau, Swayzae, is one of the freshest jersey club tracks of the modern era. The moment you hit play, you’ll be hit by a wave of good vibes and energy, sending your feet shuffling. Those with good ears will notice the classic samples pulled from Missy Elliot’s Sock it 2 Me. This track has immense power with dreamy samples, building you up, up, up, and up, and then just getting down in ways fresher than previously thought imaginable.

Mikoteau is comprised of two young Atlanta women, Mikkoh and Deconteau, both of whom are extremely talented solo musicians. Given the absolutely amazing quality of this debut, I’ll definitely be following Mikoteau to hear what they release next.
