Consistently one of the UK’s top underground music festivals, Eastern Electrics is back again this summer on Saturday the 1st of August. Situated just over an hour from London on the train, Eastern Electrics entering its 4th year as a festival is well known for attracting some of the liveliest and most dedicated crowds. This years lineup is the best it has ever seen with 8 unique stages hosting the vast array of talent.
Homegrown superstar Jamie Jones is headlining the main stage bringing his brand of groovy techno to the festival, something he was so well known for in the illustrious Eastern Electrics warehouse days. Accompanying the Welshman is Argentine techno stalwart Guti who offers a more diverse approach with his classically trained background. If you thought this was good, others soundtracking the EE main stage include Dutch master Joris Voorn, German techno staple Nicky Curly and Spanish genius Hector Couto.
Sankey’s presents a killer lineup with Steve Lawler commanding a set of ridiculous talent, featuring the likes of Sidney Charles and Sante. One of the hottest labels of recent times, the revolutionary Black Butter Records is bringing a bass edge to proceedings with My Nu Leng and Woz amongst the breakthrough stars spinning.
