It’s not often I find a track that tickles my drum & bass loving side so much, but this recent remix has reminded me how much I dig the fast paced genre. The track’s a reimagining of “Shadows” featuring Zoe A’dore originally produced by the rising, 19 year-old Australian act, Camikaze. With the mix, brothers Jeff and Jono Hansen, AKA Ekko & Sidetrack, preserve A’dore’s elegant and addictive vocals, but turn up the tempo to transform Camikaze’s etheric, uplifting drops into gritty D&B breaks. This is the first I’ve heard from the duo, but if they remain releasing bliss-inducing beats like these you’ll definitely be hearing more from me about them.
