Dirtybird takes over Orlando with Justin Martin, Ardalan and Landis LaPace

The techno takeover was real last month at Orlando, Florida's The Social. Dirtybird members Justin Martin and Ardalan put on a low-key, yet phenomenal show with support from rising young talent Landis LaPace.

As part of Martin's 60+ show tour dubbed 'Hello Clouds' that started in May, he made his 34th stop in Downtown Orlando where The Social's dark and intimate atmosphere made the perfect space to host a gig of this type.

The evening started around 10 p.m. with 17-year-old producer/DJ Landis LaPace setting the tone for the night. LaPace introduced an assortment of heavier techno on the early-arriving crowd. Although it was fairly early for any crazy action to start ensuing, attendees were extremely pleased with his opening performance. The kid was unreal!

After Landis wrapped things up, Ardalan took to the decks with pleasure. He had a drink in one hand and sported a straw cowboy hat atop his head - obviously ready to take this party to the next level. Drinks had been flowing for a good minute so Ardalan took the next few hours to dish out an arsenal of beats. He introduced several recognizable tracks, and if you listened closely, he dropped his collab with Justin Martin 'Function' putting things into full swing.

After what seemed like an eternity, Justin Martin finally came center-stage to grace us with his presence. Everyone in the building received the proper warm up that they deserved and were ready to keep the vibe going. Martin wasted absolutely ZERO time - attendees went nuts. It felt almost as if you were in Detroit hearing techno in its prime for the first time. Every track meshed incredibly with the next - JM's set was definitely one for the books!
